Mel Forsyth, Founder & Head of Chats (BNurs, GradCertAgeSC, MCounsPT). Our Founder is a Registered Nurse (Div 1) with broad experience in Acute nursing, General Practice, and Aged Care Comprehensive Assessment. She has spent many years in Case Management and Team Leading roles for over 65’s receiving in-home services funded through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and federally funded Support at Home Program (SaH), formerly Home Care Package program (HCP). Mel has a deep desire to see over 65’s thriving physically, emotionally, and socially which led her to complete both a Graduate Certificate of Ageing & Spiritual Care and Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy. The Chat Lab’s wider team shares this vision. We are comprised of compassionate Registered Nurses with counselling expertise, who wholeheartedly believe that individuals thrive when they are authentically seen, heard, and known.
